In any other year, Texas quarterback Colt McCoy would easily be the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy. He sets passing records by the dozens for a team chasing a national title. He does church missionary work in the jungles of South America, drinks milk instead of soft drinks and helps his granddaddy bail hay on the farm. But 2009 isn’t like any other year.
